Shingo award recipient
RIA-JMTC was recognized as a 2007 Shingo Public Sector Gold Medallion Recipient for our Forward Repair System (FRS) and a 2007 Silver Medallion Recipient for our Shop Equipment Contact Maintenance (SECM) value stream. We were the Army’s first Gold Medallion recipient in 2006 and are the only two-time Gold Medallion recipient in the Army.
Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence
The Secretary of the Army, Pete Geren designated RIA-JMTC as a Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Mobile Maintenance, specifically for their work with the Forward Repair System (FRS) and Shop Equipment Contract and Maintenance (SECM). Being named a CITE allows the RIA-JMTC to enter into partnerships to perform work which will enhance its maintenance core competencies.
ISO 9001:2008
RIA-JMTC is registered to ISO 9001:2008 and certified to the Army Material Command’s Contractor Performance Certifications Program (CP2) as a Department of Army manufacturing facility that promotes, facilitates and enables consistency and improvements in processes and products. The results of registration to ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system that focuses on reducing cycle time, improving efficiency and effectiveness, achieving continuous improvement, and maintaining total customer satisfaction.
